For those of us who are bi-sexual (or at least identify with being bi) to discuss things that SOME (not all) pure homosexuals and heterosexuals do not, will not and can not understand.

"We're here, we're queer, we're str8, get used to it!"

an outlet for bi guys to hang and not be hassled about whether or not we are lying to ourselves. Whether we are or not, we face still face issues that gay and str8 guys don't and I just wanted a forum for us to discuss issues

Sounds like somebody is *Discreetly seeking attention*.
What are these Bi issues you speak of, or should i even ask. And why dose it have to be discusses here, or all places. Considering that its hard enough to find healthy community for us enough as is. Why do we need to being in the discussion of V into it.

Goodness. You're entirely right, Malibu. Discussion and exploration of issues have nothing whatsoever to do with the health of any community.

Ok, so I want to know something about some bisexuals that perhaps you can help me out with.

Do you justify your unfaithfulness to your wife because you're bi? As in, 'I'm bisexual, it's ok to cheat because I can't help it, I need dick sometime too.'

Does being bi make it 'ok'? Do you not feel guilt about cheating on her because you 'can't help it'?

This isn't an attack or anything, I'm genuinely curious.

Come on dude. Reel it in just a bit and give bi guy a break. Let him have his thread. Life would be boring as shit if we all took the same journey. Maybe if he connected with similar guys dealing with the same issues in that common ground they could all grow and learn something. Maybe thats what he's really looking for? A common bond so that if he's privately struggling with some personal issues he can start addressing them?

Waving the white flag. You make a good point. Your shit is impressive for a pure homosexual. I apologize to the confused bi guy.

I can always tell when a "gay" is trying to play it up as a "bi".

Don't think we can't tell the difference!!

Since working at Gold's, I've already spotted two gay PT's and one tru "bi" PT.

I'm open at work, so there's no hiding who I am. But, appearently it's subtle - since for three weeks, my co-workers have been scratching their heads when they see me "flirt sell" to the girls and guys....

Today, we were talking about names and I mentioned that I would probably never date someone who has my name (James).

Almost immediately after completing my statement, Nathan, (a really big and tall body builder PT) quickly replied "Oh My Gawd! That would be weird!, I would'nt want that!"

Much can be left for interpretation in his statement - - so, I have yet to see what happens with this guy.

It would be none of your business Shawn, if he chooses to have an affair that is between him, his accomplice and his wife.
Who are you to demand he adhere to your ideals.

Well, you are in a tough position. I was in a similar position, and that was with my wife knowing from the start that she was marrying a gay man. I ended up being seduced by a gay friend, who then started calling me all the time, which led to the whole situation blowing up and getting extremely ugly. I don't have any advice to offer, but you might find the "closed loop" concept of interest:

There are a few guys on RJ that are in a similar position as yours. I can not give you their handles without asking them first if they want to respond to you. I will do that and in the meantime, you should know that you are not alone.

As Paradox said, you are in a tough position. If you absolutely need to have sex with someone of a different sex than your partner you need to find a partner that is willing to let you indulge in those fantasies. Heck, you might even indulge a fantasy of theirs. But you need to be completely open and honest about it. Otherwise you are just a cheating scum bag, and everyone deserves better than that.

    what is a closed loop?

This is on the intro to the site, BMJ:

    Description

A closed-loop relationship consists of two married men who don't cheat on their wives with other women and who don't fool around with other guys. It's an actual friendship between the guys, not just a physical liason. And, the bond between the guys is separate from the married relationship they have with their wives. The goal is to provide marital stability and to bond with another guy. However, the definition has been extended to include one monogamous single man and a married man. A Closed Loop is something very specific. For more info on what does and does not constitute a Closed Loop, see the Philosophy File.

This site is for all guys who agree with the principles of this concept.
We especially welcome guys who are currently in a Closed Loop relationship -- as many of our members are trying to figure out how to strike that balance

i have a confession to make:

i said a few minutes ago in another thread that i had no kinks/fetishes in my sexual repertoire... however, i just realized what i do have that many other people may find strange:

i think the ideal relationship for me would be one where my best girlfriend and i shared a totally bisexual man. i think triads are more stable than duads and i LOVE bisexual men, so he could have both sides of what he needs.

excuse me, but if your wife would like to meet for tea, i'd like to offer you my number icon_wink.gif

contrary to what most gay men think, total bisexuality is a TRUE sexuality that is just as innate as being gay, straight, or any variation thereof. i think bisexual men are hot - they appreciate the beauty of both sexes and are willing to explore themselves in ways that gold star gays and total breeders are not.

It seems that from the responses to this thread and the other Bisexual thread started yesterday that there are not many bisexual men on RJ, but that is not a fact. While reading towards the end of the first thread peterstrong gave a link to another bisexual topic thread from 2007. It may interest the bisexual men that have posted so far to this thread that there are quite a number of bisexual men still on RJ from over a year ago and that thread had a more civilized tone to it, so I repeat the link here.

    http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/4183/

Hopefully, this will be a good source for chatting or emailing other bisexual men on RJ.

Thanks, that's all the answer I was looking for...simple and to the point. I was just curious, and not as lilTwater assumed, trying to force my ideals on others (how he read that into my question, I don't know).
