I started taking a B12/B6/Folic Acid supplement. It's a little tiny thing you put under your tongue. It contains 1000 mcg of B12, and it seems to give me a little more energy. Anybody else have any luck with B12?
It might be giving you energy if you lack what is known as the "intrinsic factor"--which results in a mass reduction of the ability to absorb B12 in normal amounts--hence the 1000mcg. The RDA for B12 is 2.5 mcg.
How long have you been taking it? Even if deficient, I would imagine it would take at least 2 weeks for results to be noticed. I tried B-supplements but they did nothing for me.
