Working out making me too tired for...?

    Hey guys. New here and really not what you'd call a jock either - but really need some sound advice. I'm a 50 year old guy, been with my partner for 12 years, very much in love, monogamous...all good.

    A couple of weeks ago I started a weight lifting and general exercise routine. I have never been very active, certainly not a weight lifter. Given the combination of good diet and good exercise I'm now getting, I feel great...really great. But after working out Monday through Friday, by the time the weekend comes I find I'm kind of...dragging. And that's when we have the most opportunity for sex. Unfortunately I'm finding that I have really fallen down on the job there since this started. I'm top and...well, it ain't spectacular. Just don't have much stamina lately.

    So my question is guys...could this be because of my new routine? Am I just getting used to it, is this in any way to be expected at first? I thought, to be honest, that this would make things better. Am I experiencing a beginner's fatigue, or could I be doing something wrong?

    Anyone got any helpful advice?

    Your body is probably just still going through an adjustment phase. And it's possible that you need to eat more and/or better.

    Personally, I always get super horny after a good workout. Especially squats or dead-lifts day.
