Are you guys gay or not? What are you crafting with your hands? There must be SOMETHING that you've got your hands working on. icon_wink.gif

How do you even get the plans to make something like that?

    Working with these:
    G3ABC4, Bass Bells

I've got three concerts coming up (and these are the smaller ones I play.)
It's more 'art' in the music performance sense. I create visual art too.

Hi, these are kits that come with the pre-cut yarn and color-coded canvas grid. You can get them at most craft stores, but most of the stores sell silly, ugly ones (smiley faces, unicorns, etc.) so I got this one on ebay. It's a 70s kit with an African-like tribal swirl thing. icon_biggrin.gif

Cheers! I've been doing it for years, I was going to start selling them, but as soon as it became work I didn't want to do it. Just for me and friends icon_smile.gif

Finished my latch hook wall hanging that I started this thread with. I think it turned out nice and goes with my decor. To think that that kit was sitting around unmade for almost 40 years, and now it's ALIVE. icon_wink.gif

Hey, I did that as a kid then! Thanks for bringing back memories. Wow you had yours lying arounf for 30 years? Mine were all finished and yes they were beautiful once you see the final product (they were my sisters' school project) but now all gone since moving house a few times.

I want to do that again but I'm not sure if there are shops that still sell stuff like that. What do you call them? Woolen rugs?

Good job! It's even nicer considering it's your own thing!

I actually bought the kit on ebay from someone else. It's from the 70s. I like the pattern and the different heights of the pile. Sure beats those ugly-ass unicorn ones they sell nowadays.

I drew/inked a design for a tattoo I'm going to get on my shoulder.

    IMG_1118.jpg

Then I used my wacom tablet to make it into a facebook banner.

NICE design. I wanna make out with someone covered in tattoos someday. I'm pretty sure I haven't yet. icon_wink.gif
