The heaviest I have done was 250 5x5... I'm a real amateur compared to your weights. I haven't tried to reach PR.

You guys are amazingly strong and I feel bad now... I used to feel good because the most I ever did was 210 lbs and now... yeah... I'll just have to try harder now!

I feel so puny! I do 225 8x4. I'm still gaining 10 lbs a week or two but it is getting noticeably harder to ramp up the weight every week.

On a good day, 2x5 @320lbs for traditional deadlifts. Two times my body weight, plus change. You're ridiculously strong, OP.

I stop at 225#. My lower back tells me anything more is asking for payback down the road.

Wait, is deadlift something that you shouldn't go too high in even if you can?

IDK, like...3 sets of 2, at like 14 lbs.

but I take like 9 pre-workout supplements before I hit the gym, so that's probs why.

Damn I'm jelly compared to most of y'all.

    Did 1x5 of 275# and 1x5 of 225#.

I was able to get 1x2 of 295# in my session before that, and failed at 1x4 at 275#...

...my goal is to do a 2RM of 315 by the beginning of summer, but my low back is the weak link. Trying my damndest to keep form as perfect as possible, but my maxes I can feel my back starting to shift into a bend as I drive up in my hips.

For sure guys, I didn't start this thread to try to make people jealous or anything, I compete with myself only, I just did deadlifts with a buddy of mine and didn't realize that I was that strong really because most of my friends deadlift as much as me or more!

Dont worry. This question is better than the "how much can you bench?" questions that get asked with never-ending regularity. I've resorted to reply to the bench question with a "Not sure. How much can you deadlift?" icon_cool.gif
