You'd be surprised at the alarming amount of fake profiles with Google stolen images. Take this guy, for example.

    http://www.realjock.com/anthony321

He's been on RJ since 2007. FIVE YEARS. He's up for MOTD. And EVERY SINGLE PICTURE IN HIS PROFILE IS JACKED FROM GOOGLE.

    http://tinyurl.com/85go3vr

    http://tinyurl.com/82jq9hy

    http://tinyurl.com/6nkh8cs

Did nobody ever notice he has different abs in every pic? Did no one ever notices he has a DIFFERENT BATHROOM IN EVERY PIC.

Anywho, post RJ fakes if you find them. I know I will.

Cool! I save a lot on bacon.

Of course, it's always possible that someone stole their pics from here and posted them on other websites, but I kinda doubt it.

When you drag and drop and image from RJ into Google images, and 30 different image blogs pop up with that image in them, it's a stolen image. Especially when those 30 blogs have the image in 20 different sizes and formats.

Ooops! I chatted with "Anthony321" awhile back. His private pics are hot, though.

Yeah, I'm reaching. I would like to give someone the benefit of the doubt that they haven't been fooling people for years, but we all know it happens. They should be kick out on their butts. There's a verification process for a reason (not that it can't be fooled too).

I'm sure whoever he stole them from was very hot. It would be stupid to steal an ugly guy's pictures, right? icon_razz.gif

Well, I just uploaded a new profile pic (of the "wheels") for the first time in over a year. Haven't uploaded it anywhere else. Don't know if anyone will bother stealing it but if so it'd be interesting to see how long it takes.

At least you don't have to worry about anyone stealing your wit; that can't be duplicated!

I think some guys know already when a profile is fake, and they are ok with chatting with the fakers. I suspect that it's some type of fantasy fulfillment. Or just bored.

Why did you even take the time to comment if you don't care? It's called honesty. For those who do this, it speaks more about their character and what type of person they are: dishonest. We on Real Jock are the 'marketplace' who can keep dishonesty in check.

Giving fakes all this attention and starting a thread about them? I'm sure they're reveling in it. Just report it to realjock and let them handle it.

Agreed...it's the internet, girls...not a job application for the FBI. Get over it..icon_rolleyes.gificon_rolleyes.gif

One of the best things about RJ is the verified system. Other sites are getting more and more saturated with fakes. I'm just so sick of it.

If I find someone is using fake pics, they're a complete write-off to me. I'm glad to know, although I usually check, myself, if I'm becoming friends with someone.

I don't like ridiculing individuals in forum posts, and it is totally possible to just post a profile + the source of the stolen pic to let others know without making fun of the person.

If I find one, I'll post it here. If not to teach them that it's not worth the bother of making a fake profile, then to save others from getting attached to a person who isn't real. It's worth it even to help the person who is the actual person in the pictures not have imposters spreading their pic around.

If you guys don't are then don't post?

if it's not a bother to you then it isn't, but hey maybe some of us don't know the guy we are chatting with is fake, and it'd be nice to know? I really don't see the harm in this, it's only helping...

Do you honestly think that people steal other people's pics just because everyone isn't attentive enough to them? I don't get a lot of PMs, buddy listings or hot listings, but I don't steal other people's identities just to get more attention. That's ridiculous.

Are you really defending fakes and people who steal a real person's pictures?

I mean really its just plain wrong. Wrong wrong wrong to steal someones pics, it doesnt bother me what someone looks like to me and many others. Its about portraying yourself as honestly as possible. I usually check images on anyone who contacts me, suprisingly many of the pics i choose to check are found somewhere else. Facebook is a good one, do any of you know how many of your pics (yes RJ members) have their pics being used by others particularly on FB? I already alerted one guy from here about his pic. try pages - guys in gear, beautiful men, greek gods. etc etc. You'll be suprised at how many fakes there are.
Also which I find amusing is the amount of guys here in Perth that use homemade shots of other guys ( found on overseas profiles) in their Gaydar profiles, one guy came over last week and had used a mates pics! how funny, even though he was hotter than the pic? He denied it of course even though he was hairy and his pics were a chunky smooth guy..

Personally it's becoming easier and easier to spot profiles with fake pics. For one, 99% are the ones with pics of 21-25 year olds with pretty much flawless abs and faces and a certain commercial polish to them (not that there aren't RJers with legit modeling pics). But then it has to do with the amount of pics in the profile (just 1-3 modeling pics) and if they lack any real-life situation pics. There's no clear formula, for me I just smell fake when I look at a profile. And a quick 2 second drag and drop of the image into Google confirms it.

That fake RJer I posted in my OP (now deleted by the RJ Admin) was a special case. He had carefully chosen pics where all the guys were holding iPhones to take bathroom mirror shots, and he didn't do a terrible job at lining guys with very similar abdomens (a couple were way off though, and all the bathrooms were different I mean wtf). I was astounded he went FIVER YEARS without being spotted as a fake.
