    Hi all,

First off I want to say this is certainly NSFW. But if you're in this part of RJ you should know that anyway.

Lately I've been wondering if I have some type of low testosterone level. I'm 19 and should be at the peak of my sexual desires. That just isn't the case and never has been. I can usually go about 3 days without masturbating and it doesn't bother me. Even after that once a day is just enough.

I've been wondering if my testosterone level is low or something. Only one rare occasions can I look at a picture and get super turned on. Most of the time I resort to the same porn if I need to unload.

I feel at my age I should be a lot more sexually active than I am. I'm a virgin so I've never had the real thing, but my body just doesn't desire it as much as you'd think. I'm wanting to get a blood test done but I'm a bit embarrassed about talking to my doctor about it.

What do you think? Once I have sex do you think I will change? Am I just not a very sexually active person or is my testosterone levels low? Is there any type of testosterone supplements I can take? Thanks

Some guys might peak a little later than others - I was a bit of a late bloomer myself.

But there are things you may want to consider doing if you arent already doing them (these have helped me and I'm knocking on the door to 40 this year)

    - Lifting heavy, especially deadlifts and squats. Working heavy loads with the large muscle groups stimulates Testosterone (T) production.

    - Eat quality protein, and lots of it. Especially fish and eggs and beef.

    - Eat cruciforous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, kale, etc) -- these contain a natural estrogen binder

As for testosterone boosters, your mileage may vary. I've seen noticeable increases in my sex drive after using T-Bomb II for about a month; I've cycled off of it and will see if my sex drive dries up over the next month or not, lol...

Most of all though, definitely check with your doctor, and see if you can get an opinion from an endocrinologist in particular.
