Meaning, your hormones are still greasing up your body's potential to pack on muscle.
Look into StrongLifts 5x5 as a good baseline for a low rep count, heavy weight routine along with eating CLEAN. Grilled chicken, fresh tuna/salmon, beans, and brown rice along with plenty of greens and cruciferous veggies (like broccoli) are your body's best friends.
You may think that your metabolism will allow you to eat whatever
you like and it will all burn off nicely - and to an extent, you are right - but such will not always be the case.
Start now: Toss out the soda, anything with the words "diet" or "sugar free" or otherwise having artificial sweetener in it like sucralose or aspartame in it. Eating fistfuls of table sugar would be better than loading your body up with that other crap (though I'd recommend not overdosing on fructose either!)
Trust me, 20 years from now, your body will thank you profusely.
