That the longer this GOP primary goes on, the nastier it gets (quote from McCain), the less bold our 'conservaposse' gets? I am seeing defeated right-wingers beginning to see the writing on the wall..or so it seems.

    That is all.

Typical political bullshit in our country today which is too bad. As much as I hate it (but will still vote), I don't like the offering of either major party (& have not for years) so the debate continues vote by write in or a more off beat candidate (and through my vote away because of no chance for them to win) or choose one of the lesser of two evils.

Not so much defeated as demoralized & confused, and not getting their customary guidance, which at present is itself fragmented. They no longer know which nut-job to follow, and which talking points to spew.

But rest easy, as soon as the Republican nominee becomes likely, they'll be back telling us why we should surrender our civil rights, and our economic & national security, to support and vote for him. If they could do it with a straight face (pun intended) regarding Sarah Palin in 2008, they can do it with this current crop of avowed anti-gay, anti-women's rights wingnuts.

This is the third time I've seen a liberal comment on the fact that conservatives aren't very talkative. Then trolled them for it.

It's like you require them in order to say anything interesting.

Sorry to disappoint you, but the election points remain clear, and are getting even clearer as the gas prices continue to spike, partly impacted by a totally failed mid-east policy, a failed policy impacting Russian and Chinese actions. I could go on and on. Speaking for myself, I am less engaged here because most of the liberals here are just not worth the time to deal with. In some cases, I find logic totally lacking. In other cases, the fundamental world view is so totally different that there is often little reason to get into protracted discussions. I delve in from time to time, but mostly I consider the political forums similar to swimming in a septic tank.

I find you all doing the parroting. You are supporting a politician whose main recourse today is negative attacks against opponents. What else can he do when gas prices spike, he nominated a Secretary of Energy Chu only weeks after Chu stated gas prices should rise, his signature legislation, Obamacare, remains deeply unpopular, people know his continual statements about keeping your same plan is for millions a lie, and the CBO just announced the price of Obamacare is double what he and his party advertised? What else can you do? Despite the RJ sample, there aren't enough blind ideologues who will support him marching off a cliff. You and your political allies have to hope there are enough dumbasses whose main TV is Jersey Shore and will believe whatever BS you all say, or buy into class warfare and want more entitlements.

My level of involvement has and I expect will remain limited, as I don't want to do my part to provide you oxygen. You can circle-jerk among yourselves, while some of us interact in other, much more intelligent, venues.

And yet Obama wins head-to-head with Romney in nearly every poll and Santorum would just lose more spectacularly.

Then your entire second paragraph is full of ridiculous non sequitirs (Chu thinks gas prices should rise, so they have? Failed Middle East policies?), which just demonstrates how desperate the Right is.

I'd hazard to guess you're less engaged here because Obama Derangment Syndrome has so ruined your generally logical and gentile discursive practice and most of us have noticed and called you on it.

Romney lost the election the minute the Republicans decided to make contraception an issue. Women are the largest voting block in the country and even Republican women are disgusted with the Republican Party.

    LMAO

Yet another comment from socal that's clueless delusional fact-challenged and full of pompous hot air and bullshit.

TM is correct of course - that all has been quiet from the RJ Repubs.
They'e obviously and understandably feeling down and defeated.

But if the Repub party's chances start to look better I'm sure we'll see more comments posted by the RJ Repubs.
And once the Repubs select a nominee the race could become tighter.

As we've seen through the UGLY Repub nomination fight Mitt Romneycare is a down and dirty politician who will do and say anything to try to get elected.
I'm sure that he will wage a filthy and repulsive campaign funded by a buttload of dirty secret donor Repub Super PAC $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

It won't be enough because Romney himself is such a repellent and unlikeable candidate but it could make it close.

When all is said and done - I expect President Obama will be reelected.

And clearly the RJ Repubs see the writing on the wall too.

    LMFAO!

WE'VE all "grown rather bored (like to death!)" with you RJ Repubs and your "whole redundant liberal hen" talking point!

I mean really can't you come up with a fresher talking point/attempted line of attack than that "liberal hen" bullshit?

That's your contribution to the blog threads?
Trotting that old crap out AGAIN?
    LOL

If that's all you have to contribute - then its no loss at all that all you RJ Repubs have finally gotten jobs and are working "for a living" (and are just too too busy to post on RJ anymore).

Welcome back to the US work force!

SEE - President Obama IS putting America back to work!

Now gents, let's try not tearing each other to pieces this year. Some of us (meaning some of you) are going to be depressed and cranky in November. So let's not poison the well before then, eh wot?
