Sorry to disappoint you, but the election points remain clear, and are getting even clearer as the gas prices continue to spike, partly impacted by a totally failed mid-east policy, a failed policy impacting Russian and Chinese actions. I could go on and on. Speaking for myself, I am less engaged here because most of the liberals here are just not worth the time to deal with. In some cases, I find logic totally lacking. In other cases, the fundamental world view is so totally different that there is often little reason to get into protracted discussions. I delve in from time to time, but mostly I consider the political forums similar to swimming in a septic tank.
I find you all doing the parroting. You are supporting a politician whose main recourse today is negative attacks against opponents. What else can he do when gas prices spike, he nominated a Secretary of Energy Chu only weeks after Chu stated gas prices should rise, his signature legislation, Obamacare, remains deeply unpopular, people know his continual statements about keeping your same plan is for millions a lie, and the CBO just announced the price of Obamacare is double what he and his party advertised? What else can you do? Despite the RJ sample, there aren't enough blind ideologues who will support him marching off a cliff. You and your political allies have to hope there are enough dumbasses whose main TV is Jersey Shore and will believe whatever BS you all say, or buy into class warfare and want more entitlements.
My level of involvement has and I expect will remain limited, as I don't want to do my part to provide you oxygen. You can circle-jerk among yourselves, while some of us interact in other, much more intelligent, venues.
