No, not everybody - a baby or infant is not racist.

Racism is a social construct designed to devide and rule..... it works.

Break free, think for yourself. We are one.

Not true. The body of evidence suggests that there are innate reactions to differences in race even at a very young age.

'body of evidence' provided by a society ingrained with social conditioning.

step back and think.... evidence provided by whome and for what purpose.

What ingrained conditions and prejudices are they bringing to their 'research' paid for by government think tanks, philanthropists and 'education research establishments'?

The evolution of life is rife with the "us and them" and "us vs them" concept, it's why lions form distinct prides based on family distinctions that dictate territories even though they are all lions, it's why we as humans have nations, civilizations, borders and cultural identity celebrations to begin with. A huge part of that mentality rests on racial constructs and racial/national identity. Whether it's good or bad is up for debate.

Most western societies are intent on eliminating such prejudices because most feel that it's wrong, but it's impossible to root those ideas out of everyone. It's not just "learned" as you suggest.

I have an Asian friend who is racist towards many Asians himself, and have also been a victom of none Aussies because I am a white Australian. Thus Racism is not a one way street, and it's not just us white Anglos who are racists either. Nope we are all racist in our own way, but it does come down to what we do about it.

There are those even America who wants to promote Australia as being a racist country, ignoring the fact many of us are subjected to racism ourselves by people who have come here for a better life. yet although America has made leaps and bounds forward in it;s racist past, you just have to look at many threads here at RJ to see race is still a very big issue in America today. look at the poor young black man who was shot in the street, and the police have not charged the perpetrator, and if this young man had of been white this may well of never come to pass.
