I've gained some weight, but..

    I started weight training, with my previous weight 115lb and now I can proudly say I am reaching 165-170lb.

    Thin-boned and lanky in general with not so much broad shoulders like many of the jockies here, I managed to increase muscle mass, but still I think it's because of the size of my frame, I get comment that I am a skinny bloke with clothes on.

    Now no offence to slim guys, but having heard how skinny I had been all my life, I wanted a bit of change and I am quite content about my health and appearance at the moment... and yet, not to be too greedy I want to break out of this plateau.

    Back to the point, so I don't have broad shoulders and in general have more difficulty in developing upper body esp. chest and arms rather than lower body.
    And my waist size also increased, and my abdomen area, although still showing definition, is quite large, I must say.

    My work out has been 2-3 times/week, chest&back, shoulders & arms, lower body and lower back. Been concentrating on doing compound exercises mainly, been eating a lot, getting proper rest.. etc. Having witnessed my problem with chest, I have added more routines to work it from different angles. But that's about it.

    My concern is that I don't quite possibly know how to evolve my work out routine at this point. I definitely want solid and larger chest, arms, and shoulder, and flatter stomach.

    Is anyone at a similar stage as mine, and gone through similar situations and concerns?

    Yes, it's very hard to provide guidance when there's only a few details that you've provided and no pics to help.

    I went through a similar transition as you, though I'm a few inches shorter. I was 117 lbs when I was 18, and now I'm 178. My highest was 191 just a few months ago.

    If you provide a breakdown of the exercises you do for each body part, that would be much more helpful to see what may be missing.

    I will say, at first read, working out 2-3 per week may not be enough to get the results you want.
