A Black Dot

I never feel good enough. When I walk into a crowded room it’s like I’m slowly sinking into despair. The colors are very blinding. The colors range from the blue to orange. I, however, am a full and tinted black spot. The colors stand out because they are bright, but a black spot struggles to be seen. No one pays attention to a black spot because the bright colors attract heat and acceptance. Isn’t that what every individual craves? Heat and acceptance? There only seems to be enough heat and acceptance for the bright colors. Without heat and acceptance, black dots struggle for air. Crisp and fresh air creates a lively individual. Without crisp and fresh air, how can the black dots survive?

First off, you are good enough. I don't care if you believe it and I don't care if anybody else believes it. I believe it. You want to know why? Because there are people out there who will be attracted to you no matter what and who won't be attracted to you. You just have to roll with the punches and embrace who you are.

I liked this poem-ish thing you have going on. Can't give you much advice. Try being a white dot that looks 16 years old. Men won't even look at me without thinking that I'm jailbait lol.

Yeah but I'm sure I'm not the only one. I'm sure other people feel that way sometimes as well.

I'm not talking about boyfriends and guys. Now I feel like I'm complaining. I was trying to avoid that.

I love black dots...especially when they're freshly ground. I put them on almost everything I eat.

I found it (poem-ish thing) rather synesthaesic, which I related to.

william, perhaps you should consider others in that room might see you as a colour and themselves as a black dot. icon_wink.gif
