For federal, about 4 days. For state, about a week. But I filed at the beginning of February, so maybe there were fewer people filing and they could process everything faster?

    Last year about 7 days.

This year Bank of America for some reason rejected the deposits and 4 weeks later I got mailed checks.

Shorter than 7 weeks which is the minimum time you'd wait using the paper/snail mail combo.

If you don't get money back you are terrible at math and business and should just give up now.

2 weeks from submission to direct deposit.

I think it also depends on your efile method. One year it took six weeks, but that has been less and less. Last year and this year 2 weeks or 7-10 days.

The Federal refund was quick. I'm still waiting on the state of North Carolina and they don't seem to be too concerned about getting it to me anytime soon.

Filed right at the beginning of February, so, in business days...

Virginia (non-res): 3 days. (very impressive!)
    Rhode Island (non-res): 7 days.
    Federal: 20 days.
North Carolina (res): Still waiting, those silly gooses. icon_razz.gif

Less than a week. But I'm so poor that my tax return is completely uncontroversial for tax filing purposes haha.

It took mine about 3, but I filed early and the IRS had that crash that delayed refunds. This late, it should take a bout a week...
