I was talking to a friend about my plan to work out and bulk up. he suggest that I need to consume twice as much calories as my current recommended level. I don't really know how much that is. I am 5'6" at 120 lbs, looking to gain 20 - 30 lbs. Since there is no way I can double the amount of food intake, I am considering a mass gain powder that would supplement the calories I need to bulk up.

Any recommendations on a protein shake or mass gain shake that would give me 500 -1000 calories per serving?

Made a topic a few weeks ago about myotein vs isopure. since then I have gone with Isopure Mass. 600 calories (900 if you substitute water with 2 cups of milk) per serving and 53 grams of the "best" whey protein isolate. It also has alot of other vitamins and minerals. Good taste and lactose free (unless you add milk of course) I noticed that it does keep you quite full after you drink it, as if you had eaten a decent sized meal. It comes conviently in a 7lb tub if you want to have it for a few weeks (Bought on amazon for about $60) or a 3lb bottle if you just want to try it out.

    That's my suggestion. Good luck!

I like Optimum Nutrition's "Serious Mass".

I would avoid anything other than Chocolate.

Ultimate Nutritions Iso Mass has been working well for me. Serious Mass is cheap, that's the only pro I have for it.
