For anyone unfamiliar with this story, this "man" basically targeted an innocent black man to brutally beat, then run over, just for being black.

Videos from security cameras show alot of the incident, but I will not try to find and post them because it just makes me sick.

This is one of the few times I would wish ill on someone, but he cold heartedly took a life so he deserves life of misery in prison.

Yep very familiar with that case!

"Dedmon, 19, told the judge that he was a "changed man" who had found religion since his arrest." <---- bullshit! That's what they ALL say!

Personally, I wouldn't deny a person's assertion that they've changed and have a different view on life. He'll have to prove it. At the same time, he needs to pay for the detestable crime that he committed. Maybe he will turn this into a learning experience for other teenagers and show them the price of hatred, both in the death of his victim and his life consecutive life sentence.

It should have been a death penalty case.

"Anderson, a line worker at a Nissan plant, sang in his church choir, Thompson said. He is survived by his partner of 17 years."

    Tough story to read.

Was the victim a gay man and did his partner not have a name?

If they are referring to a gay partner, I'd be interested to know if the partner asked to remain unknown or if the press doesn't consider us human enough to have named Anderson's survivor

It will not be his hatred for black people which punishes him, but any love he finds in himself for humanity.

Well, that's a given. Our taxes go in part to dealing with people who break the law. Killing him would be even more costly, not to mention the easy way out for him. It's a lose/lose situation no matter how you look at it.

They should have taken the prick out to the parking lot after he was convicted, beat the shit out of him, then run him over with a truck. Can't believe this POS didn't get the death penalty for this heinous crime.

He's definitely getting what he deserves. I'm sure the alcohol didn't help but how can someone have that much hatred -- simply reprehensible. Only 18 and he had his whole life ahead of him and not really bad looking.
