I love mens colognes & a good smelling man. Certain colognes remind me of my ex's and how awesome they would smell.

1 ex bf would wear halston z14 or faranheit & when he
did I practically raped his ass it smelt so dam good.

I also love eternity because in the 90s me & my best friend wore the hell out of it when we would go clubbn so it brings back so many memories when I smell it now.

What colognes do u luv & who do they bring back memories of?

Most colognes bring back memories of being raised in a gay-hating church, where the 100's of colognes and perfumes mixed together in one room smelled like a cheap brothel.

For me it's more about beginning to hate the colognes that my exes wore..

For example, the Dior Homme cologne makes me want to vomit now.

    As does Versace Pour Homme.

As a teen, I thought Jade East was the bomb. I loved it - and felt like a grown man who actually shaved when I wore J.E.

I've owned a lot of great colognes, but this one is my favorite. I wear them rarely and sparingly now - but before I used moisturizers everyday - I wore aftershaves and colognes.

As far as exes go, I've had too many of them over the years - and I remember some of their colognes, like Paco Rabane; Givenchy, Halston, D & G, Burberry, and Burgari. None of these would bother me ....... exes are in the past.

The smell of Old Spice reminds me of my late Father shaving in the morning. And for a while I used it also when I first began to shave. He never wore any fragrance going out at night unless he shaved again, though, nor do I.

Gay men wearing cologne reminds me of the heady rush I got when I first started going to crowded gay clubs. All those different scents all mixed together in tight quarters wasn't very pleasant per se, but I was so turned on by other aspects of the experience that those smells today do bring back good collective memories. But I never had my own man who used cologne regularly, whose fragrance today would remind me specifically of him.
