West coast bass provocateur Ana Sia has never been one to settle for "normal." While she could easily sit back, press play, and drop the dirtiest bombs from chart-topping hits, that's just not her steez. She's a crate-digger, at heart; an enthusiast for the wicked, and off-kilter. For wonky beats and underground weirdos. In this spirit, Ana Sia is releasing a series of four mixes, one each week for the next four weeks. These 30-minute sessions explore the underbelly of today's scene. The first installment, "Sparkly Eyes Technique," is an unsettling jaunt through bubbling tech-house beats and scant grime, all under the guise of bass music--in her words, "from the gross to the gorgeous."
These mixes coincide with the unveiling of her brand new website. Visit anasiamusic.com to peruse photos, videos, events, and more. She's got surprises in store for her fans all month, so stay locked.
