On Saturday April 21st, please go out to a Starbucks and buy something from Starbucks.

    April 21st update:
OVER 1,300 PEOPLE ATTENDING NATIONWIDE ON FACEBOOK EVENT PAGE: http://www.facebook.com/events/233401520091530

Also, watch this video I made! icon_biggrin.gif

This is to commemorate Starbucks' unwavering decision to support gay marriage. WATCH:

After seeing Starbucks CEO Howard Shultz so eloquently supporting gay marriage in this video, I've decide I want to influence more support in response to Starbucks' support for "us" as a collective group of amazing homosexuals.

So on Saturday April 21st, please go out to a Starbucks and buy something in Starbucks for "Thank Starbucks for supporting marriage equality" day. If you feel like it tip them and/or say thank you for their support for gay marriage. If you already go to Starbucks a lot then tell your friends to come and join you on April 21st.

I've chosen April 21st for a reason: it's exactly one month after NOM put up this video in a failed attempt to discredit Starbucks for its support on gay marriage. So I'm putting effort into counteracting NOMs stance. I hope my efforts gain attention from NOM and they learn who I am, because more of me is coming later. icon_smile.gif

p.s. I'm 30 now so I'm trying to be "political"

Fuck politics. Go get a damn cup of coffee, sit down with your laptop or tablet, stfu, and eye fuck stare at hot guys as they walk by. After all, that's what Starbucks if here for. icon_biggrin.gif

I like the idea, but a thank you that comes a month after the fact is not nearly as effective as one that is offered immediately following the good deed. This coming Monday (as in tomorrow) should have been "Gays Support Starbucks" day to really make an impact. It's not too late to change the date.

I disagree that later is worse. When people have enough time to get the word out, it creates for a better effect. A lot of people haven't yet seen the NOM video. It also will remind people about this topic.

If you don't support Gay marriage, then don't post here.

If you don't like the coffee, then don't comment, your negativity is not needed.

    Will do. icon_biggrin.gif

And Roadster: It's not the coffee, it's the principle. If you don't like their coffee, that's okay... just get a bottle of juice instead. icon_biggrin.gif

I'm sorry you can't participate. However, you can sign this online thank you card. It shows Starbucks that they have international support for their support for Marriage Equality.
