Random I know, but I'm excited because I hadn't run in like 3 months (since Christmas) and I surprisingly did better than I did when I ran routinely.

So just to share, I somehow managed to run 3.15 miles in 32 minutes which I have no idea what that relates to in terms of fitness but it's definitely better than what I've done before.

I'm just surprised because it didn't feel like that good of a run during and it wasn't one of those times where you just feel like you have more energy but nonetheless I'm happy with it.

That's great. I was running 3-4 miles about every other day until about 7 weeks ago when I developed bursitis. I know for other guys on this site that is nothing, but for a guy who is 48 and has never been particular athletic I am proud of what I am doing to stay fit.

that's pretty good man considering you were routinely running committedly for a time. I find it hard to stick to a routine mostly because I'm intrinsicly lazy at heart. Mine mostly just depends on my diet, if I've had bad foods I exercise more and if I've had good foods the entire week I won't exercise at all haha.

Seriously though you have good dedication, puts me to shame for sure.
Hopefully it all turns out okay with the bursitis. I'm not sure if there is any kind of anti-inflammatory injection you can have that can be given directly to where the site of inflammation is. I know some steroidal injections do that job but I think it's ultrasound guided.

Anyway best of luck with that, hopefully it dissapates soon.
