PLANTAR FASCIITIS IMPROVES W/ANIT-INFLAMMATORY DIET

Just wanted to share my experience over the past week. I've been following a diet where the foods I eat all fall under the category of ant-inflammatory foods. I decided to give it a try just so see how it felt. One problem I have learned to live with is that I had a mild form of plantar fasciitis which is inflammation of the foot area between the ball and heel of the foot. It would bother me after sitting for long periods of times and especially after getting up in the morning. It would gradually feel better after 10 minutes of walking/movement but I always had to hobble like a 90 year old for those first 10 minutes until the area warmed up.
Well, after following the diet for just one day I woke up the next morning with absolutely no pain in my feet. I was so surprised. I was simply used to it and thought it was associated with getting older as I've had it for a few years. I made the assumption that it was related to my diet change but wasn't 100% certain. However, one day I made a birthday dinner for a buddy and it required white Arborio rice - which is considered an inflammatory food. Within hours my feet felt inflamed again. So I have to say from my experience that I am benefiting substantially from the change in my diet.

I have no books to recommend at this time but I'm going to look into it more as I have only minimal guidelines to follow in terms of what I can and should not eat.

I can't find the original post and the author who brought this concept to my attention in order to thank him. But THANKS for your post. It's helped me a great deal and lead me into the right direction.
