No big surprise - rolled up nearly 50% of the vote to half of that for Mittster and Newt and Ron way back. Next up Wisconsin on April 3 and then Penna later in April. When does Newt get out? How can Rick justify continuance of his candidacy if he fails to win his home state? Stay tuned.

What do you expect from Louisiana republicans, they are just hopelessly stupid just like the rollicking retard from Pennsylvania, Rick Santorum. Go figure.

His views have certainly found a foothold in this part of the country. And as much as I've enjoyed the South in many cases, their views are still stuck in a pre-1960's state of mind in some areas.

And to note, Romney came in 3rd in Miss. and Alabama.

Wow. Aside from his flips and flops, does anyone else think that his Mormon faith had any part to play? He may be able to win in Utah and Massachusetts, but the Deep South is a whole different ballgame where old-school Catholics and hard-core Baptists, Pentecostals, and Apostolics predominate.

Why the hate? Rick Santorum is a very mainstream conservative Republican. He is very close politically to the other politicians you support.

The only real differences between Santorum, Gingrich and Romney, are the special interest billionaires who own them.

Why hate Santorumicon_question.gif because he is very primitive minded and wants to go back to the 1950s. He is definitely not mainstream. He is a blind sycophant to the corrupt, hypocritical Roman Catholic Church. Plus he is a hysterical homophobe.

Romney up by 7 according to latest polls there. Also that day Maryland (got to be Romney, apparently Santorum doesnt even have a real organization in state and I cant recall him even visiting there) and DC (Santorum not even on ballot) vote too.

Santorum is a dangerous Christian Fundi and lap dog for the Lobby AIPAC and would lead us straight to his Idea of a Righteous Bible based war on Iran. We should all do our level best to Keep such fanatics and their version of God as far from the Whitehouse and the US Capitol as possible. Religion and Politics throughout history has been a very bad mix, he who forgets history is condemned to repeat it.

Louisiana is one of the most backward, ignorant and religiously superstitious states in the Union and this Santorum win there shows what ignorance and religious superstitions get you. So congratulations Santorum, the ignorant can have you. (of course not all louisians are ignorant bible thumpers)
