A SWIMMING PARTY: Your Choice?

It figures I'd ask a question like this..... Its summer, why not?

A friend encourages you to stop by his house and say hello and you do so to find a pool party going. It looks great and he encourages you to join the party.
There are about 30 people who you mostly know
You have no swimming suit. "Birthday suits" are not an option.
..... and your friend solves the problem by showing up with choices:

    1. A multicolored boxer

    2. A pair of jean cut offs in your size

    3. A squarecut swimming suit

    4. A pair of board shorts

    5. A speedo in a color you don't much like

    6. A thong

    What do you wear? Why?

I'd probably do the squarecut, especially if its in a great color. The speedo, if it is cut the right way.

**The issues with having an office in a country club..
I want OUT of this office right now and go swimming in the pool here! LOLicon_biggrin.gif

Square cut, for sure. Who cares what the colour is, they're hot.

I don't even know what a squarecut is that is how much I go swimming these days. Not a speedo bikini style, or thong (god forbid).

    Board shorts or "squarecut".

I'm modest, so I'd go with a suitably well-fitted pair of board shorts. Unless everybody else was in skimpier swimwear. In that case, squarecut.

I'd have to say definitely the square cut. Speedo only if it's athletic (water polo) type. Thong is definitely out of the question.

Board shorts or square cut... I am very tall and feel/look funny in skimpy shorts.

I'd do a quick visual assessment to make sure. I'd want to wear the squarecut but wouldn't want to be the only one. So if no one else is wearing it I'm grabbing the board shorts and hopefully they fit and don't hang to my fucking ankles. Speedo for me is not for swimming just laying out.

    Board shorts

    Strangely, I'm only body-conscious around people I know... icon_confused.gif

The speedo is for laps. The shorts are for lounging. Do they have to be board shorts, though? I bought the cutest green trunks a few weeks ago and they're great.

I might make my decision based on which one fits best and looks o.k. I still look good in Speedos, so I'd do the Speedo if the color or pattern was not too bad. I have used boxers in a pinch sometimes - the guys I know wouldn't mind!

Prolly the square cut if it was hot....otherwise the speedo because that's all I really wear.

Ok I am becoming a hick...definitely the cutoffs. I think cutoffs are much more ocmfortable than most swimsuits...not to mention you can always ask for help to peel them off if need to be :-D

Totally the square cut...knowing my friend would have a larger waist and I'd be the first person in history to complain about a speedo being too large. icon_razz.gif
