What kinds of things do you guys like to see in a profile? Are there any particular things that either make you want to contact somebody, or completely turn you off?

Good question guy. I'd love to see this thread take off cause I've wondered that my self. So your profile seems to be direct and to the point. A couple more pics of what you are into would be nice. I'm thinking mine might be too wordy. Sometimes short is sweet.

Always thought it was silly for guys to show pics from when they were a lot younger (and hotter). As if I wasn't going to notice when we met...

I like an honest one that seems to speak directly to the person's posts and pictures... meaning coherency. Just be who you are, and don't get lost copying someone else or not filling it out at all... that just sucks and leans towards being seen as a Troll. Trolls suck, don't Troll, unless it's uber.humorous. So yeah, be yourself, and read throughout the thread before posting ; )

anything that describes the man; shows that he has guts to not hide himself from everyone else. 'Cause it shouldn't be difficult to share something/ several things about yourself other than the size of your penis.icon_neutral.gif

Some dude the other day posted he had a 9 incher! Then he posted a pic with a dollar bill along side.. guess what? A dollar bill is exactly 6 inches! oopsie!

One that really conveys what the guy is really all about.... nice to see some personality, positive outlook and what the guy enjoys.

Negatives: Thats it. A bunch of negativism or the kind of guys the dude doesn't date or doesn't want. Unfortunate.

Do's: be honest, keep it simple, give us the broad strokes of what you're like in person, put some effort into it, avoid using too many cliches

Don'ts: don't sound too picky, don't be bossy (be this, don't be that), don't be too negative

There's probably more. That's just off the top of my head.

    - Auto-play embedded music.

Oh my god I swear when I go into a profile with auto-play it makes me want to make the guy think I've fallen in love with him so we can meet in person and I CAN STAB HIS FACE WITH A MEAT CLEAVER.

to me a good profile has:

as big sean puts it in the Dance intro:

"ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass ass"

    see:

    ...

haha no but aside from that a genuine profile with some humor and personality

    I like a genuine profile.

Just a nice guy with story, that goes beyond. "I like masculine men"
SOmeone who shares his likes and dislikes and gives you a intro to who he is as a person.

I don't care for pics as long as their is one where you can see the person.
I just think people who are themselves are beautiful and I tend to message guys who just speak from the heart.icon_smile.gif

I know it's a minor thing, but I sometimes get put off when guys fill their profiles with a bunch of quotes from various writers/philosiphors/celebrities etc and not much else. I prefer guys who have something to say for themselves.

Current photos, honest and sincere information, detailed but succinct, and at least an attempt at genuine humor.

Me too, especially in pictures where they're sitting on the ground freeballing in baggy shorts.

Needs to be enough text to determine if those are stolen pictures or if he's a royal douche or if he might be kinda cool to chill with in the sultry summer heat under a lifegaurd stand at 4am on Sobe. If it's the latter, I'll say hi. icon_biggrin.gif
