    Hey guys,

I'm new to RealJock and I was wondering what sort of experiences you've gained from joining the site?

Positive and negative experiences, I don't mind - I just want to know what I could expect here or if there is anything I should do to make my experience with RealJock the best it could be.

I've met some genuinely nice people on here, as well as some douchebags, intellectual wannabe's, morons, instigators, etc. Also, during my first 6 months on this site, I met several RJ members for coffee and they're all looking for a boyfriend or husband, which scared the shit out of me. Now when an RJ member says he wants to meet me for coffee, I know he's talking about my "coffee."

Oh, I've also seen cocks of all sizes and shapes, assess of various widths, and spooges of differing volumes--all courtesy of RJ members volunteering to open their private pics for my inspection and pleasure.

A deeper understanding of all the different lifestyles that gay people have.
A deeper understanding of others' frustrations, their hopes, their successes, their failures.

    ...good grief, I'm over 20k posts! icon_redface.gif

Oh, so much to look forward too!

I guess I'll have to try and have some input in the forums. Seems to be one of the only legitimate ways to make real conversation here.

Well in a few months I will have been a member & active participant in the forums for 5 years. I think the positives are numerous:

    1. Gain insight and ideas for your workouts, healthy living, eating, weight loss.. almost anything involving fitness

    2. Converse with and socialize with other (mostly) fitness minded gay guys
in various stages of life and with differing viewpoints. It can be more than that however..... it can give you confidence if newly out that there are others
here that understand your situation and thats huge for many. You have some great examples of educated, grounded, together dudes that have achieved success in their lives .... or are on their way. Probably the best
group of gay men you will find anywhere.

    3. The capability of making some genuine friends on this site.

There can be a few negatives:

    1. Forum flamers: Unfortunately you can see guys who delight in just being
negative or like to throw "flame bombs" or are just a pain in the ass. When
you witness this, I'd encourage you to evaluate on your own, whether the person(s) you note as being this way... are just being a pain or if they are
conveying something.... it may be the latter. There are a few that many view as trolls. Just ignore the negative.

    2. Topics in the forums: Sometimes one can view some of the topics as
repetitive or inconsequential. Just remember, we all have different interests. What may seem like a dumb topic to one isn't to another.

Have fun with it and welcome to our site!
