Well this only started last night and it's freaking me out to say the least. Right above my elbow, around the tricep area, I'm feeling like this throbbing/pulsating type of sensation and when I touch it and look at it I can see it moving a bit in a small area. It's not painful but kind of annoying especially how it just appeared while I'm so stressed out with exams and papers due.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any idea what this could be, it comes and goes today but last night it was really going off but it calmed down today after sleeping. The past few days have been a lot on my body, I was doing a lot of physical work with very little sleep.

    Thanks for the help guys!

Is it like a muscle twitch that is annoying and just won't stop? Did you just do a heavy wight lifting day or have you been over training in general? Sounds like your CNS is just overstimulated.

    Hi MarkRoger!

You have a nerve that descends in that region. If you are stressed/overworked, the nerve can become irritated and you can see this made visible by muscle contraction. Since you said that it has started to "die down," I would say that it is nothing to worry about.

Another possibility would be that when our muscles are contracting, it could be our bodies trying to tell us that we are missing some kind of nutrient. Are you getting everything that you need?

However, if it continues to keep bothering you for extended periods of time and/or you are really, really concerned about it... I would advise you to go see a doctor.

It means you are going to die tomorrow. Or not. Go to the doctor.

You have an alien being living underneath your skin. Be sure to disinfect properly once it bursts out.

Sounds like arm cancer. My friend had it and they gave him six weeks to live but he only made it three weeks. See a doctor ASAP.

I don't think there are any MDs on here. Go to a medical professional if you are concerned.

That's ridiculous. It's obviously arm AIDS.

Are you using that arm scratching your balls too much? Try switching to the other arm.

Not sure if anyone else picked up on this but maybe it's from scratching your balls so much...

I don't know which arm I scratch with at night but thanks... I'll wait and see what happens within a week and then decide whether I need to see a doctor.

My legs get like that after a hard ride....170k...and they'll throb all night. I use to take L'arginine, L'lysine and L'orthinine combo before bed... i'm all out. I can only get it in the states. Funny... a Dr. told me to take it. Right now i'm using glutamine before bed.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I've had similar things happens due to stress and/or lack of sleep. None of us are doctors though. We can't diagnose you, only give an opinion. Keep an eye on it and see if it continues. Get some rest.
