Ahhhhh yes, Sunday night April 1st.

I'm driving down from Columbus for this. Anyone been here before? Nice? Acoustics decent? Anyone else going?

45 years since this album came out. I remember it like it was yesterday!

My second favorite group, after the Beatles. Loved this group since I was a kid. My favorite poem, The Lovers Lament, part of the Days of Future Past album (1967)...

and it looks like a very very nice smaller venue. 1,800 seats. Looks to be perfect.

Strange how it came up. A bunch of the guys I work out with went over to the Tim Horton’s in the same parking lot as the gym to shoot the shit for a while after the gym closed last night. We somehow got from the topic of Burning Man (Nevada) to this (geezer rock and Moody Blues). And out came the Droid to do some quick searches to find that the closest they were coming to here (Columbus) was Charleston or Pittsburgh and one thing lead to another and here we go.

It was about 3am or so before I found resale tickets from some folks who couldn’t go. So we’re all in row G, 7th row. I’m curious to see how much these youngins (18-23) enjoy this among all the 60-80 yr olds there. They claim that there will be a surprising number of young folks there and seemed to be pretty familiar with the geezer rock and very much knew the Moody Blues. So I have a car full for a little drive Sunday night.

So there is hope for the world after all.
