And then after you spend that you can sit on the dock because you'll never be able to afford to gas it icon_razz.gif

No, I think it pays for it. Figure $200mm? net lotto minus about $20mm for the Moonen leaves a safe withdrawal rate of $7mm/year. Figure $2mm/annual operating expenses and you've still got another $5mm to blow on the annual dockside cotillion.

That puppy's built to explore, not to stay at the dock.

    A $500mm lottery? That's a crapload of $$$$$s

Just think you could pay 176 million to get every combination and make a profit.... but you'd have to bet on no one else winning!

You had better get started now. That's a lot of lottery slips to fill out.

You could spend every penny of that and not put a single dent into global famine. But why not try?

I'm playing with a bunch of co-workers. About 40 of us are putting in $5 a piece. Some of the others are looking at us like we are crazy but here's how I see it, 33% of that money goes directly to our public education system. I'm donating money, providing people with jobs, and having fun..... I'm on the way to a gambling problem aren't I? icon_sad.gif

JPtheBITCH saidI'd like to say I'd do something socially responsible with the money, but I'd probably just spend it on high-class hookers.

You could buy those hookers for life and get them off the streets. See, you ARE a philanthropist.
