This was released two days ago. I feel that this is the best song iamamiwhoami has produced to date. She really has tapped something here. I really don't have the words to explain how much I am in love with this. The song, the symbolism, the video. Just, everything. It hits me to my core:

    iamamiwhoami - play

Not impressed by the choice of background instrumentals, but the vocals are superb.

I lost interest in them during the 18-month long figure-out-who-we-are Youtube spree. It became tedious and never had any payoff since it turns out they were really nobodies. Remember when people thought she was Christina Aguilera? HAHA!

This song and video are fantastic though. If they ever put out a full-length release, I'd buy it.

Her whole audio-video aesthetic is nothing new though. She's kind of a Fever Ray rip-off, and Fever Ray's music is far more interesting in my opinion.

I though the fact that everything was so subtle and unknown was one of the best parts. I love the mystery. The fact that she was completely "unknown" and new added to the appeal a ton more too.

To each their own but I could not possibly disagree more. I prefer iamamiwhoami's music over fever ray's by nearly 100 times!
