    Hi All,

I am trying to add lean muscle. I am currently 71kg and 6ft2, so I want to be at least 80kg.

What are the different measurements that I should be making in order to track my progress at the gym.

    I currently do the following:

    - Weight myself
    - Measure myself
    - Take photos
    - I recently bought callipers to measure body fat %

Is there any other numbers I should be keeping track off?

    Measure yourself.. which bodyparts?

The key is consistency and if you really want to be honest with your measurements don't' do it right after working out lol.

It depends on what you mean by progress at the gym. Do you want to be strong or do you want to be able to run a 3:15:00 marathon?

My goal is to be generally fit. I don't want to specialize in any sport. I just want to be healthy, lean and strong. Here's what I track:

    Weight
    Body Fat Percentage
    1RM Squat
    1RM Deadlift
    1RM Push Press
    Mile Time
    10 Mile Time
