Old news.

Leptins have been approached and largely discarded as a primary cause of weight gain. Blockers of these hormones only produce results in less than 2% of the population.

looking for excuses like lepitin, cortisol, or genetics is just ignoring the actual problem: diet and exercise. My own mother has struggled with her weight because she blamed her wacky thyroid. She has been on a diet and exercise program for six months and has dropped over forty pounds.

Well, everytime I cross the 60 pound mark I do a complete 180. I can't figure out why. Maybe this is reason.

Yeah.. no matter what the problem is, good ol' diet and exercise will be a more powerful combo breaker.

The best advice you can get for weight loss, is to get even a little exercise, and -- see a nutritionist --. Eating right can do wonders all its own.
