I've been confused about the location of the "General Discussion" forum on here since I joined. It's under the "Dating, Sex, and Relationships" heading, so I've always thought it meant it was general discussion about dating, sex or relationships. Yet, lots of my "general" posts get moved there.

So, what's the deal? Why isn't general discussion under the general discussion heading? And, what's the difference between everything gay and general discussion?

I've made the same observation halltd. I'm curious to know the criteria for topics for both forums.

I posted a Father's Day topic in the All Things Gay general discussion, and I'm pretty sure it got moved here.

Dating, Sex, and Relationships? Um, that's not the kind of relationship I have with my dad...

You have a RELATIONSHIP with your dad. Just because it says "Dating, Sex, and Relationship" does not mean only sexual relationships. There is an "and" between sex and relationship.

Caslon, I've seen the move happen to other topics, and I just want to know why, what makes one topic different from another. Why do some stay and some go? Halltd is wondering the same thing.

I know, but can you understand my choice of interpretation for the kind of topics in these forums?
