    Hi everybody,

Several years ago, I went to Las Vegas and I recalled seeing some advertisements for sex dungeons in a porno magazine that I'd purchased. I've always been interested in going back to Reno or Las Vegas so that I could experience being dominated in a place like that, but then I found out that prostitution/sexual service outlets were made illegal a few years back.

As I was searching the Internet to try to find a solution, I came across the topic of bath houses, which I've been reading a lot about over the past few days. Does anybody have experience in going to a bath house that might have had a fetish room or dungeon and, if so, do you think that would be a good way to go and experiment? I live in Northern California, so the closest cities that I've found with those facilities are in San Francisco and Sparks, NV and I'd rather not make the two hour drive in either direction if it won't be worth it. Thanks!

sounds like a great way to catch STD's and perpetuate the myth that all gay men are sexual deviants.

If you're really interested in S&M go find a sex positive group online and try and get to know some people before experimenting with BDSM

a lot of bathhouses have dungeons and bondage play areas. each place is different. i went a lot when i was seems like an eternity since i have been inside one.

most are stanky, dirty-ish places that are not sexy in the least bit. lots of old trolls (not attractive mature men), overfucked twinks stuffing their noses full of poppers, pig bottoms, and guys who look homeless. not my scene.

some baths i remember were fun, but it seems like another world to me today. The Hollywood Spa in LA was an experience! So was BlowBuddies and another place in San Fran (i can't remember the name but it was in SOMA). There were sex clubs off Hyperion Avenue in LA that had bondage and watersports play areas. I think those places are closed now. The baths in Las Vegas were boring as hell, and one was famous because the guy who killed Gianni Versace supposedly worked there are hung out there.

at any rate, dont expect too much from the baths. a better option, wait for a leather event, where you can meet men who are into bondage. sometimes they have bondage parties that you can use to 'get your fee wet'.

Thanks Hot_in_the_Kitchen. I think that I'll just wait for an event. The more that I hear about the bath houses, the less appealing they seem. It's too bad, though. The premise seemed nice initially.

alright alright I have to chime in here. I have been to a "bath house" and I had a really good experience. and *gasp* I didn't get aids or scabbies or whatever. Its easy to assume such generalizations in the gay community (a community that is hugely generalized).

There is usually at least a couple of rooms that have bondage and or slings.

I will repeat this as many times as needed. You don't have to do anything that you don't want to do! You will not get raped there. IMO it might be a good place for you to observe before you jump in. Usually people are very open in thier acts and want an audience or they don't. Seen some good scenes and didn't directly par take. Be polite and respectful and you would be just fine.

Food for thought. I feel dirtier at some gay clubs then I have felt at the occasionaly steam visit. GL either way.

    *two cents*
