Hairy back and shoulders...

    Hello,

I have very dark hair and now the body hair on the back and the shoulders is growing more and I really hate it...

I am very ok with the other hair on my chest, legs and butt. I tried to get it waxed, but then the transition between the normal arm hair and the too smooth shoulders( also the same with back and ass) ist too hard and doesn't look natural...

Shaving is also not the best, I can't reach my back and you can see the black hair when it grows so fast...

I am a little bear but I don't want to become a grizzly all over!icon_rolleyes.gif
    How do you handle this?

you sound like a cool guy. Natural turns a lot of men on. I'd say leave it.

have you discussed trying to have the transition from smooth to natural more feathered in to look better with the waxer?

Sometimes I imagine covering one wall of the bathroom with double-stick duct tape. Just jump up against it and let gravity run its course...

Yeah, I saw that... I think I get the same effect by using two rubber bands to attach the razor to the handle of the loofah. I get the rubber bands free from the mailman.

You need to blend the hair from your arms with a trimmer, and, frankly, you will need help for you back and shoulders.

A good barber will do it if you ask. This is, also, one good thing husbands are for.

I have back and shoulder hair, which I find disgusting in the extreme, and I agree wholeheartedly that it needs to be removed often.

You may want to call around and see if you can find a better waxer. It can be done, but it takes some skill.

I am the same way. I just use the mangroomer though and get rid of it. Plus it doesn't grow as crazy if you were to shave it. Or go to your local hairstylist shop where you can buy hair accesorries, dyes, and shavers. Ask the shop associate if they have the peanut, its a portable shaver the barber uses to trim around your ears and neck. Its the little guy. It helps trim easier also.

    I second this one!

I truly feel sorry for you. I'm not mad on hairy backs, or bums.

I so grateful that my body hair is so blond you can hardly see it, anywhere.

But, you are interested in my view. You prove it every time by replying to me. If you are not interested in my view, why do you reply icon_question.gif

The fact is, I'm more verified than you. One pic with a silly grin is not much to verify someone on icon_rolleyes.gif

Let it grow, dude -- it's sexy and manly, and you'll eventually be proud to be such a furball. I write about coming to terms with being a gorilla on my blog, "Confessions of a Hairy Backed Man" http://hairybackedman.blogspot.com/

I agree with the majority here. It's really a personal thing. If you hate it, then get rid of it, but not so it looks 'fake'. It's just as bad as wearing a hair piece (wig).

One of the big things you need to sit and consider, is that if it's more about YOU disliking it, or if it's that you feel that it's about society accepting you. I mean, if you're more worried about what everyone else thinks, and it doesn't particularly bother you, then maybe you need to just trim it to make it more comfortable for you, and wait a few years to see how you settle into it. You may just end up not disliking it, and realizing it is just something 'different' to you. Remember, you're really young, and you haven't probably been exposed to enough guys that appreciate it, which tends to be more guys in their late 20s and up.

It's impossible to force another person's opinion on you and like it. I mean, if you truly dislike it, and it makes you feel uncomfortable or make you itch, then do what you need. There's lots of options available.

Personally, I have had bf's with both clean and furry backs, and I find advantages with it both ways. It's not horrible because it's dirty or wrong. Never forget that. It really can be just as sexy as chest hair. There's guys that like and dislike it.. then again, there's guys that like and dislike chest hair too. So, it should be 100% about you, and nobody else but Y O U !

    Good luck!

Use laser, it takes several sessions to completely remove hair so stop when the hair patch isn't too dense for you. So if it takes ten sessions to be smooth, just go for 4 or 5 sessions instead but ask the beautician about what you want.

Yea, this is best in my opinion. Lots of factors contribute to how many sessions it takes (dark skin, laser strength, area covered, etc. . .) I had it done on my back and it took 8 sessions, but I'm really sensitive to the laser, so they could not use a higher strength.

    agree! icon_cool.gif

i've asked my last 3 guys about removing my slowly emerging lower back/shoulder hair(no sasquach, just some thin fur on the shoulder blades and lower back...curiously enough, no macho tramp stamp...yet) all three said it was a non-issue with them; that it was a strangely erotic turn on at certain....significant....moments. icon_wink.gif

the only back hair my current bf has is an emerging "tramp stamp" right above the upper ass crack. i enjoy running my nose thru it at the end of the "riming run" and gently pull on it with my lips....makes him "shake like a dog passing a peach seed"! icon_twisted.gif
