I have a friend who is currently on Testosterons and his body is coming out good. Now I weigh about 260 at 5'9 and I was wondering if I should start them myself. Now I don't want to be like super bulky but I do want to look good. Do you guys think that is a good idea? I was told once you start them you can never stop or you'll lose all your muscles. Is that true? Any who is this a good idea

You're 260 pounds at 5'9? Hell no. All you have to do is lose body fat and lift weights. You probably have a lot of muscle on your frame as it is if you're 260 pounds.

Then I don't recommend taking T. It'll give you unwanted body changes, and throw off your natural T production levels. Talk to you Physician about this first. See if you're at risk for low T production.

Good. You'd be surprised how many people push a learning experience aside. I know cause my bestie was a drag.king in AZ, and underwent the process of T injections. Learned all I could to help.

Take in less calories than your body needs while getting enough protein in your diet to support muscle growth. Cardio will help also.

Drinks lots of water, run/jog/walk, and eat smaller portion. If you keep this up for couple of weeks you'll lose some weight, then probably should start hitting the weights. Anyways guy just be patient no need to cheat yourself.

slow and steady man! sucks but seriously, adding testosterone to your body is the least of your problems. get that weight under control and whatever issue it was that lead you to get that big. oh, and unless youre going to get your excess skin removed, dont expect it too look like a spanking new baby. your skin has been stretched and any rapid weight loss will only add to the trauma its been going through. ;/

Ok, I was thinking about that as well. I've already cut down on all the snacks, breads, candy, and all other fatty foods. I've been eating more vegtables, more fruits, even chicken breast, and fish.. Taking more vitamins too.

I have started that process. I've been doing it for a while now, and started going back to the gym yesterday. I started the 12 week strength program.

HOLY F**k, get your act together.... if you have high cholesterol, you have low testosterone.... Leg exercise is the best way to increase T, but diet is the number one killer. Go on a no wheat/ no corn diet..... Like oatmeal in the morning.... rice bread.... vegetables .... meat.... etc. That will knock most of the sugar and fat from your diet as well as letting you rebuild your gut. Buy a nice racing style bike, shorts shoes etc and ride. The first 25 min you'll be getting rid of the fat in your blood stream.... after that the fat last deposited. If you can do 5 one hour rides a week your body fat will drop to 8% in no time... added to the diet.... and weight bearing exercise you'll look ripped. You're testosterone will have increased dramatically.

Also if you do decide to take supplements go with a Vaso-hemodulator (Nitric oxide).... but only after you have your blood pressure under control. A lot of muscle building products out there will actually give you a limp dick. Be careful... and T shots are probably a last resort.... maybe when your 60 or 70.

My suggestion would be like the previously mentioned. I've checked with my doctor on what my test levels are at and they're pretty high. Unfortunately, while i hunger to get bigger and a better body, i'm yet to consider taking enhancers. I've had to cut all creatine intake and pre-work out suppliements because they also fucked with my kidneys. My filtration levels from my kidneys after i took cellmass and NO explode were at 30% filtration (I've only been taking the recommended dosage on the containers off and on for about a year and a half, with time off, 3-4 weeks in between, as recommended.. it still fucked with my kidneys).

So now after talking to a friend whos the same hieght and well in to the 200 range and looks good. He told me he taks no pre-work outs and no creatine and no enhancers. Just glutamin etc. And he's pretty big and hard muscle.

Right now my Diet is shit. And that's a huge factor on why i'm only maintaining the 25 lbs that i've gained in the past few years. It's mostly about Diet/nutrition, your work out, dedication and what you want as a result. Keep in mind that some results aren't going to be reached thanks to the god forsaken g word (genetics.. I fucking hate that word).

Take your time, work with what you got. Get to a reachable goal and go from there. Stay dedicated if you want a better body. Take advice. Most importantly, have fun! icon_smile.gif

If you make it fun, you're going to enjoy going to the gym. Take it seriously because it is your health, but while you're there work out hard and make it fun for yourself. keep track of how you're progressing. And if anyone tries to put you down, just think it's not about you.. they're just jealous that you're actually doing something with yourself icon_smile.gif

I don't really have anything to say that everyone else already hasn't, but I thought I just throw my voice in to enforce it all.

You don't appear to need to use testosterone at all. I think if you just got your diet in check you'd get a rockin body.

You're only 25. Your Test production should be fine. It's only after 35 that you should consider taking anything.

Speak to an endocrinologist! They're doctors who are experts on hormones and metabolism. After examining you, they'll give you an expert opinion on whether you should or shouldn't. While all the posters were well intentioned, I didn't hear any of them talking about their credentials.

No. I've never done it but from that info I've read by experienced guys on other forums will also say that you shouldn't. Before starting on that you need at least 5 years of proper training and diet to get to your genetic max. Never start too soon. In your case you might need a bit more time to loose the fat and get in great shape. During this time you need to read a lot and educate yourself in what you are considering.

You are messing with your endocrine system. The guys who do it know what they are doing and are very knowledgeable. They get a regular blood panel done to monitor how they are doing. If you fuck up your endocrine system you might get stuck with issues for the rest of your life.

I used to weigh 180lbs but that was due to me being younger partying, drinking, and smoking cigarettes. Since I've stopped doing all of that I guess I'm subtituting food for all that icon_sad.gif It seems like as quick as I eat it as quick as it shows. My metabolism is like super slow and I've been trying to find ways to increase it.
