Public self embarrassment

So I am standing in line waiting for my turn at some public place. A super cute guy is a few steps ahead of me in the line. Everyone is killling time on his smartphone, including said guy. I said "why not?" and bring the camera on the phone to snap a picture of the guy, so I mute the camera and press the shutter... And the camera was on compulsory flash from earlier today.

The guy OBVIOUSLY sees the flash and leaves, while I am here on the line, all red faced and posting this thread. Has you ever been on a similar situation?

Well, I would not have put myself in that situation.

That being said, I think everyone has done something that did not feel right in public. Once, while having lunch at my first day on the job, I had a fully loaded tray of food spill in my lap...drinks and all. Of course, the new co-workers thought it was funny as well as the hundreds of other employees in the cafeteria. I was younger then, it's very rare today for me to be embarrassed regardless of how much I make myself look like an ass. Not sure why? I do have a lot of public speaking where I present information and a lot of speaking with no info prepared, question & answer stuff...I think it's made me all but immune to being embarrassed.

I have a buddy that is always snapping pictures wherever we go of guys he thinks are hot. Despite his best efforts at being discreet, I know many times they must know he took their pic and it can be very embarrassing to be with him. Sometimes when there is no way around it being obvious he will ask and much of the time they say yes. One day recently when I was with him, he took 54 pictures of various guys. Kind of obsessed.

I know.. I want to take a picture of the guy I am crushing on, but I also don't want to be a creeper. I also keep forgetting about doing that the second he starts talking to me icon_razz.gif

Sometimes my cat tells me how his day at the White House was... how Joe Biden and John Boehner were talking about Nancy Pelosi and how they've got to drain money from Education to get money for her next Bridge To Nowhere... Then I tell my cat, "You can't build a bridge that goes nowhere! Where would it go, right?" LOL OLo icon_neutral.gificon_wink.gificon_cry.gificon_lol.gificon_biggrin.gif... Right?! OBVIOUSLY!

I like to do something embarrassing the minute I enter the room. At first it was a reaction to severe anxiety, a way to face my fear, but now I think I just do it because I get bored really easily.

So since you took the pic, where is it? We want to evaluate your judgement to decide if it was 'good' or 'bad'! icon_redface.gificon_redface.gif

    Yes, it is.

Taking pictures of someone without consent warrants an ass kicking.

AMoonHawk saidLOL .. ooo .. busted ... Karma got you

    You forgot the cardinal rule:
Do onto others as you would want them do onto you
Last time I followed that advice, the other guy got kinda pissed and told me it's not nice to walk up to people in public and start tearing their clothes off and groping them.

I just tend to trip whenever I'm walking in public - especially on campus.
Damn long legs haha, put me in a place where I don't want to look down and see that the sidewalk is messed up. icon_surprised.gif

That would have creeped anyone out. Why would you take a picture of someone without their consent.
