Brokeback here too. It affected me long after viewing, and aspects stay with me. What a time and place to have lived. Incredible acting. For comedies, Trick and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

    My favorite is X-Men 2.

It's always been powerful for me to hear Sir Ian tell Pyro, "You're a god among insects. Never let anyone tell you different."

Gay pride has never been so commandingly articulated for me in film. And McKellen is a genius.

Gay classic? All About Eve (1950).

Or if you mean one with gay characters? Prayers for Bobby (2009). I cried like an effing baby; it changed my life.

    Mysterious Skin.
It's an extremely emotional movie. About two guys getting molested by their baseball coach as kids; one turns out to be a prostitute, the other obsesses over aliens thinking he was abducted.

Also the line "I hate when they look like Tarzan, but sound like Jane..." came from this movie.

I definitely recommend it to anyone. Not to mention Joseph Gordon-Levitt
is very sexy and they show his hot ass in the movie.

I haven't seen many, but Prayers for Bobby is a movie that I'll never forget for the rest of my life. Words can't describe what that movie did to me.

Beautiful Thing is a perfect mix of funny, sweet, and moving. The best friend with the Mama Cass fixation is a great character.

I would toss out another vote for Latter Days, but I really prefer Shelter.

Man I haven't watched a gay film in ages though, I watched that new Eating Out movie not long ago, but christ those have gotten TERRIBLE. They can't even find hot guys for them any more.
