Love the NY Auto Show! I started going when I was just a kid with my dad, and have been fortunate to travel fairly regularly to it for more than 30 years. Lately though, the show to me has found itself in a rather odd position - being a major show, yet located in a city that fundamentally hates cars - one only has to look at the new, yet fantasitically ugly/committee designed Nissan taxi, or consider the insane cost of just parking in the city to confirm that. Regardless, I'm glad this year's show has so many significant debuts, particularly the Viper, if for no other reason than that car alone thumbs it's nose at all the anti-car people in the city like no other car can.

Quite attractive in a dark color

This might do it for me for a work car provided that they can do a giant back seat, and unlike the LaCrosse, a giant trunk. Given that FWD is supposed to be so space efficient, give me close to the room I have in the G8. If the room is there, this will likely do it for me. I want to return the G8 to the use I bought it for ... drag racing.

For upper $20k range, this new RWD Subaru sports car would get a second look from me.

For some reason, the BRZ isn't really screaming out to me as a car that I want. Maybe it's the styling...it doesn't jump out at me.

One of these days I'd like to hit the NY show.

To me it looks cartoonish, but it is Japanese so that's what they generally do.
