OK, this may sound lame and vain but I have some serious cellulite and I'm wondering how to get rid of it? If I eat right and keep losing weight will it go away or will I always have some?

Just wondering cause I think it looks nasty.

I thought that cellulite didn't form on men; only women?

    Do men get cellulite?

Do more excercise is all I can say.

Realistically, there is no treatment for cellulite. Loss of weight may improve the appearance a little, but it is not reliable.

Please don't get sucked into topical creams, supplements, massages, or wraps or special diets. These do not work or are temporary in the case of the massage. Laser therapy has been proven to work but it costs in the thousands.

But around 90% of women and 10% percentage of men have it. So, while slightly unsightly, it is nothing to be ashamed of.

    Good advice...

I guess like a lot of guys, I don't like the way my body looks. Too skinny in some places and too fat in others.

Wonder how much genetics plays a part.

But fighting the tide and going to try to get in great shape, but ultimately, I guess I have to not be so judgemental of my appearance.

Hard though, with so many amazing looking guys on realjock!

Would developing muscle in your glutes help in anyway?

It`s just more common in women than men. Could very well be a genetic inheiritance.

The only things that will reduce it are keeping your body fat composition down through regular, rigorous aerobic exercise, and a low fat diet.

Maybe some weight training of the legs and glutes as well?

everyone can have cellulite, male or female. the more fat u carry, the likelier you are to have it. In women it is more prevalent because they are fatter.. ( most anyway..)
I have some, and I'm skinny... thank god for a hairy ass and legs... hides it... LOL...
