THE STORY OF MY LIFE!

I am content with knowing i sleep like a dumbass and i hurt all the time. I should sleep strapped to the bed.

try sleeping in a position where you are less likely to roll around.

i sleep on my stomach.

Same thing happens to me. I had a shoulder injury I'm working on, and when I told my PT about it, she said - sleep on your back. It does work.

Two things are going on and both of them point to the fact that you should have this looked at

When you have an area of irritation in the body that has to do with the musculoskeletal system
when you sleep the body will tend to make those muscles - tendons and/or ligaments contract
and when you go to get up all of that contraction will have to start moving again
it's called post static dyskinesia
The other thing is that you move during sleep and are likely to sleep in a position that irritates the area even more
whether your injury is tendon related, rotator cuff or arthritic I can't tell but you should go see a doc before it gets any worse

When sleeping on my side, I sleep with my upper arm on a pillow or on my side.

Also, I use stretching exercises to keep those muscles loose.
