push notifications

    I've looked everywhere.....
    New mac so just learning it
    Facebook notifications turned off on iPad and iPhone but Im still getting them.
    Any ideas?
    Is there a way of accessing the settings on the iMac?

    You're getting them on your iMac?

    Did you install the Facebook messenger?

    no on my phone and iPad even thought they're turned off
    Did not install messenger
    tried to find a way of opening the Facebook app on iMac to change settings there but couldn't figure it out..........LOL

    You may just need to shut down the facebook app on the iphone / ipad - double tap the home button, touch and hold the icon until the stop signs appear and then tap the stop sign.

    Not sure where, but on Facebook there is the option to not get push notifications or emails.
