Actually not just RJ, these uneducated guys are everywhere. icon_eek.gif

I've seen some online profiles with this whole"ddf/neg ub2" condition and then I've seen the same guys in the bathhouse having anon sex with multiple guys. This whole ostrich mentality of "what I dont know cant hurt me" always baffles me!

    lol.. core of that conversation...

Red robot: I am not comfortable with a poz guy
Brown robot: What if I told you I was neg
Red robot: Then I would let you fuck me up the ass without a condom
Brown robot: But because I’ve told you the truth even though there is less danger to you than what you encounter daily by crossing the street?
Red robot: Yes, I do not like to take risks.

DDF should not even be a meaning. I once had dated this guy for a week. Great sex! However, I kept feeling like something was missing, no cum shot, he didn't get off, ect. I chalked it up as unlined chemistry. We had already had the HIV talk and he said he was negative. Well, a week in, we went to a bar and were just hangingout in our own corner with our own friends. One of my friends was like "who are you here with?" I pointed out my "guy friend." To my complete astonishment, my friend was like"he's POZ." When confronted, it took my "guy friend" three whole days to finally tell me "I'm undectable." I was like WTF? After telling this story to friends, they were torn on the subject. Should he have told me or should I have kept asking in the first place? It's soooo hard sometimes to not see past your lust and trust people. In the end, I dated the guy for five years after that, and never became POZ myself. However, that ONE LIE continued to plague our relationship all the way to the end. SO I think DDF should be deleted as a acronym LOL.

Well, at least you saw past the whole HIV+ (undetectable) thing and continued to see him. But yes, he should have been upfront about himself and things in his life. Poz or not.

You did ask and he lied. But asking also sends a message that you may have concerns about being with a poz person. Because if it didn't matter and you played safe, then why does his status matter? icon_smile.gif

On another note, the friend who "outed" your guy friend as being poz committed a legal offense and can be sued for doing so.

Most guys don't realize that when they gossip about another status.

BambinoRex saidwhat law are you thinking of? Tort? HIPAA? that would apply to every people.

HIPAA would only apply to people who have access to your medical records (doctors, hospitals, insurance companies, your employee if you are on a medical leave, etc..). Someone you may have told about a medical condition in a social situation is not bound by HIPAA. It may be a question of ethics, but definitely not a violation of HIPAA.

I'm not sure about the US and about HIPAA.. etc

But here in Canada it is the Privacy law that prohibits unauthorised access/disclosure of a persons personal info like financial, heatlh..etc. Maybe it is covered under the same there?

your partner and you dont use the same toothbrush for that reason? lol dont use the same toothbrush because its gross and no one should ever share the same tootbrush let alone have their toothbrush for more than 60 days... however, if you are sucking the guys dick, kissing the guy and doing all that good stuff, if he has hep, sharing a toothbrush is the least of your worries lol
