I wonder when NOM will realize they're fighting a losing battle.

Maybe it'll go better than their #DumpStarbucks campaign.

If NOM is a 501 C 3 tax exempt organization, their 990 Tax Return IS PUBLIC information. Maybe they are not a 501C3, but they are losing.

I am a proud support of Equality Florida and I don't mind being listed as a supporter

Actually, it will be when they can't get 6 figure salaries from being a part of it.

We've been HRC members & supporters for a number of years. Their "equals" sign has now eclipsed rainbow images as the chief logo of the gay community where we live.

We've had an equals magnet sticker on our car for years. It's also embroidered on our shirts and baseball hats. I even have an equals sticker on my golf bag, which makes right-wing fat cats do double takes on the golf course.

Well fuck you, reactionary Republicans. History is on our side, not yours, and the more fanatically & irrationally you struggle & lash out, the closer your end approaches.

Let's be honest here though guys...in spite of the fact we are on the side of the overall issues the HRC - if indeed the tax returns are private and if indeed someone from HRC got a hold of them and leaked them, then the HRC could very well be guilty here. We might say the end justifies the means, but if the HRC has to defend "the means" in court, then plenty of our donation money will go to that instead of things much more important.

However, IF the leak was actually a NOM whistleblower, then NOM itself is the only one to blame!icon_wink.gif

Which is what I personally think happened.
