Which was your favorite? Are you going to say FFVII? Maybe to be different you may say FFX? Would you say that FFXIII was a good game but a FAIL FF game? Did you beat the weapons and get the golden chocobo? Speak up!

STILL trying to finish the last two missions of XIII. Trying to farm for platinum ingot to upgrade all the weapons, but it's taking friggin' forever.

Waiting for XIII-2 to come down to $29.99.

Looking forward to the remake of VII & X (if the rumors are true.)

Waiting for XIII Vs. -- if it ever happens.

Lol... Honestly, I didn't like FFXIII. It was definitely not worth beating twice to me. When I heard of GameStop's giving extra credit for the trade-in of FFXIII-2, it gave me a very good idea of its replay value as well, lol~ Final Fantasy XIII vs DOES look promising... but Final Fantasy Type-0 looks even better~

I just finished a(nother) playthrough of FF6 and I would say it's still my favourite. I love 9, 10 and 12 as well though.

I thought Xiii-2 was pretty good and I spent a lot of time on collecting all the fragments without even realising lol. A lot of people hated the ending but I didn't mind it - I liked that they didn't do the usual 'and they lived happliy ever after' type ending.

Mind you, I'm still waiting for a final fantasy game to go back to a more traditional ff style with a full world to explore, towns etc. xiv maybe?

I haven't played an FF after X for more than 3 hours. They all seem so... lost.

I haven't done the online FF. I also heard that FFXIV is online as well... Maybe I should just try it...

Every person who said 3/6 being their favorite rocks! Most amazing, moving story and colorful cast of characters ever.

Did not like 7 (tho I have this theory that 90% of those who played 6 first prefer it, and same with 7).

Loved 9 too -- it has my favorite FF character of all time there. Really got into the world they created here.

I had fun with 10. Did not like/finish 12. I had fun with 13 too, but mostly just with battles. I remember liking 2/4 but it didn't move me like 3/6 did.

    My favorite: FF9
I actually loved 13. I thought a good game, but a fail was 10-2. It reminded me too much of Charlie's Angels.

No one is going to say XIV?!?!?

Well XI definitely consumed more of my time than any of the others. But I think I have to say X seems to be the best balance of gameplay, story and visually pleasing.

Of course, if they ever redid XII with more modern graphics and fixed some of the unfinished pieces...

FFVIII and FFX all the way!

Both were progressive from it's predecessor and introduced awesome new game mechanics.

FF3(FF6) is my beloved favorite. Then IV, XIII, X, IX, XII, V. I'm such a fanboy.

I think that was probably it... every new FF I played after that did not touch me like that story did... I really felt personally involved in the lives of those characters, like all of them... they were very well-rounded... and what befell them was just a riveting story with emotional scenes from beginning to end

I would be lying if I said FFVII wasn't my all time favorite game ever. It was just an amazing experience. I think I still have it lying around somewhere. It just felt like the game was so ahead of its time when it came out. Only game that has excited me as much as FFVII did was Fallout 3. But, I did really enjoy FFVIII a lot as well. The newer ones just don't do it for me...

And I did destroy the Weapons and got my awesome gold chocobo icon_smile.gif

FFX is for me my favorite by all means. The characters, music, gameplay, side quest everything about it I loved. Never played FFX-2 for fear of ruining sucha masterpiece, hopefully FFX hd does come out sometime soon, I'll so own it in a heartbeat.

    Without a doubt.

Absolutely magistral soundtrack (Uematsu's best work in the series overall), wonderfully engaging storyline and characters. Its only con is how loose and unstructured the World of Ruin was, however. As soon as you got Setzer and Daryll's airship you could head straight to Kefka's tower and beat the game.

I'm a huge fan of the soundtrack of FFVIII (and the storyline also resonates personally with me).

FFIX also a very big fan.

That was the whole point. Everyone else was optional because who the fuck can be bothered getting 10 characters back.

I'd have said the same until I played "Tales of Eternia". That's the only game that I know of that in some ways dragged FFVII in the mud, lol. It even had GOOD voice acting for that period of gaming.
