Story Highlights

  • Crowded gyms are a prime breeding ground for germs, viruses, fungi

  • Abrasions, blisters from vigorous exercise can create openings for infection

  • Sweating "superhydrates the skin," making blisters more likely

  • Always wipe down gym equipment before use

Yep, and wash your hands and use the disinfectant offered by the gyms and wipe the equipment down after you're done.

Um... that's a story about an 80 year old female stripper. I think this is the correct link:

Germs, definitely germs! This should go on the "That guy we all hate at the gym" post, but the nastiest thing...when someone uses the restroom, doesn't wash their hands, and then proceeds to put on their lifting gloves. Ummmm....EWE!
