On April 2nd and it was fantastic. Link below for pics of the Revel on the Boardwalk. Whats really cool is it has a spinning (well LED lites make it appear) beach ball on top. Second link added is a person's video of such. It was spectacular! Rooms are $259 a night so far.

Stopped by last night, I have to say it reminds me a lot of the Cosmopolitan and Aria in Las Vegas, but it's a great facility, and it's a big plus it's smoke free.

That's a good question SB because for everybody on the lower Atlantic coast needs to drive 2 hours to PHL or EWR unless they want to go to the handful of Spirit destinations. Others have tried and failed over the years.

I don't like casinos cause of the gambling. Honestly, I only use $15-$20 on slot machines and pull out any winnings asap. However, I do love them for their food, decor and entertainment! I'd play once a month just to get that energy high from being around all that beauty and noise!

The problem with Atlantic City is that -- unlike Vegas -- there is really nothing else to do. I'm not a gambler or a smoker. My BF likes to play the slots for a few hours maybe once a year, but after I stomp up and down the boardwalk once, I get pretty bored.

My thoughts exactly! I LOVED the Revel Gardens with the AMAZING views of the beach & ocean!

I wonder if that part will be open to the public during the summer, if so, I can see it being VERY popular! I can imagine nights during the summer with the various fire pits will also be very cool; they will need alot os security during the summer IF it is open to the public.

Oh, and I did inquire the spa is open to non-guests @ $55 for a day pass (open till 9pm)
It includes both coed & single sex spa areas.

So far, the spa @ Borgata is the nicest, I have a feeling this new place will surpass it!

Thank god for the outlet mall; the stores do have some great deals (Nike, Kenneth Cole, Calvin Klein are my favorites).

They did say that Steel Pier will be expanded with new attractions, and they are taking over the structure that connects the Taj to the Steel Pier and putting in new amusements in there! We'll have to see what goes in there.

That would be nice. There is a lot of potential there. I expect the beach party by Caesar's could be fun too with the right crowd. I was disappointed to see that the ACES train tanked... we took it once and it was fun although took a lot longer than driving.
