I have gained a lot of weight. I went from 193 to 217 in a couple of months due to my job and college that have taken a lot of my time from the gym. Now I need to get back into shape or I'm afraid this belly will get bigger!

    Actually, your belly looks sexy.

    Can I rub it? icon_redface.gif

I say lift weights and not too much cardio. Eat everything you like, but that is healthy within reason. You're 18 and already have a belly, so you could be destined for musclebear status. You have potential to be a big shitkicking guy that nobody will mess with.

The important thing is to be happy with your look and lifestyle.

Watch what you eat. If you cant exercise, portion control.

Remember that portions in the US are OUT OF CONTROL.

    ***WARNING***

It may be difficult for you to find a way to lose weight--you may have to tweak your current lifestyle quite a bit.

Be prepared to fall, fail, or plateau. Be prepared to get discouraged. But keep going... you're not that bad off actually. And the quicker you lose it the better. (I don't mean losing weight extremely fast in an unhealthy way; rather lose your weight goal within a year instead of getting bigger or staying at the same weight for several years.)

So, body hair doesnt' grow as quickly as head hair. Are we really to believe you grew all that belly hair in just two months especially if it wasn't shaved previously?

Or did you steal these pics from your pop's computer? Or the other way around, some old geezer stole hte profile pic from someone else

I know how you feel... I injured my knee in early January and was on the couch for 7 weeks. It's been 13 weeks since the injury and I still can't jog or run for longer periods of time. Unfortunately I have gained a bit of weight during all this time.

Yeah start running/jogging maybe an hour early before you start your day. Drink water instead of soda, tea, whatever you normally drink. This should at least reduce some belly.

Isn't this your second thread about it? o_O Either you're really desperate to get rid of your gut, or you secretly like it.

Dude, you know how to get rid of that. Cardio. And not just the gym-tourist barely winded two women chatting kind of cardio. I mean the max-incline clinging to the rails cardio.

This week, its pantry cleaning time. My collection of brownies-in-a-box got baked for my coworkers (sortof. Three batches were baked but only two of them made it out of the house.)

Mark the day: april 16th, getting braces/orthodics and having a tooth pulled lower front. The fun begins.

    Time to buy a blender.
