I haven't seen 'em, or tried 'em, but I think any energy drink (so long as it's caffeinated?) cuts your appetite, and during a workout I think your appetite goes away anyway. I get hungry sometimes, but usually it's right after the workout.

I tried the nestea stuff that was supposed to burn calories....

Was it called Enviga or something to that nature? The funny thing I found out about those is that you need to consume X amount of them in order for it to do you any actual good. I've read that caffine/green tea in pill form has a greater advantage of burning calories.

All "energy" drinks are BAD for you!! They TOTALLY mess with your metabolism!!! STAY away from them!!!

Oh wait, you said pre-work out drinks, my bad.....

If anything, I'll have either some coffee or tea before I workout for energy.

Have an apple instead, half an hour before you warm-up.

This is true. icon_razz.gif An apple has just as much energy as a cup of coffee. While coffee (in moderation) can actually be good for you, an apple is a pretty healthy alternative, that could fit easily into a nutritious diet and give you a good energy boost. ^^

Also, for a little extra UMPH! in your workout, try eating a banana an hour - half hour before the gym.
