I would agree but its too early to tell if that song will have any traction when summer actually is here.

It flopped on release, there's absolutely no way it's going to have any success over the summer. They should put out Turn Up The Radio as a summer single.

I love the way you think and I gotta agree it's a hot track but JayPride is right she needs to release TUTR for a Summer hit.

My pick is the new JLO song with Pitbull. On The Floor Part 2 basically but I bet it will be playing all Summer long and already seems to be storming the charts.

Nothing about a CD debuting at #1 is considered a flop...

Also "Girl Gone Wild" was the "Greatest Gainer of the Week" on the Billboard Dance/Club chart landing at #4 and likely headed to #1. "Give Me All Your Lovin" also went to #1 on the same chart and is still at #8, giving Madonna two hits simultaneously in the Top 10. Flop? I think not.

Granted, MDNA overall took a huge drop in week #2, dropping from #1 to #8, and "Girl Gone Wild" has yet to find it's way as a hit on CHR/Top 40 radio. Regardless, there is little doubt that Madonna's new mixes will be on the radio and heavily played in the dance clubs all summer long.

I have to say I agree---both on the J-Lo track, probably her best song in years & years; as well as with MadeinMich. That Madonna track will be long gone by June.

I'd put money on the fact that you'll be hearing "Girl Gone Wild" in various remixes over and over all summer long

There's no doubt that Girl Gone Wild will continue to top dance charts/play in clubs but in terms of the Hot 100 (the one that really counts) it has been a bit of a flop.

TUTR could turn this around but we are unlikely to get it as a single, unfortunately.

Anyway fuck it, singles don't make any money anyway and the album went straight in at no 1.

In gay/dance clubs, maybe. I'm talking hot 100, iTunes/streaming and radio play, where GGW is a complete and total flop.

Also, Madonnas number 1 album suffered the biggest second week drop of all time. Just a fun fact. ;)

Azealia Banks might make a big splash this summer if Universal plays their cards right. They've got her working with Paul Epworth so there's step one!

I'm sure we all know Rihanna, Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj are going to dominate the radio waves again this summer.

Katy and Nicki, probably. Rihanna's been, having a tough time on radio, maybe because she has like a million singles out at once.

Talk That Talk was scheduled to be her next single but she hasn't even shot a video for it and she released that tasteless Birthday Cake remix with Fist Brown. Girl needs to do some damage control. Katy Perry is also over exposed, she could do with a break. Does Ke$ha have anything out this Summer ? If so I can see that setting the charts on fire.

Where Have You Been is supposed to be the real next single/video, which is good since it reeks of smash. It's just a matter of hoping people aren't actually tired of her. Ke$ha's lead single from her next album could come out anytime.

All I know is M.I.A.s 4th album will be my SUMMER banger. icon_lol.gif

This is your summer song folks.

Girl Gone Wild has already become Madonna's 42nd #1 Dance song. She's amazing. Love live Madge! But I don't anticipate hearing it throughout the summer.

Wasn't that already a minor dance club hit a few years back by Kelly Rowland - David Guetta?

Is there any age for music? I mean, when you are able to bring someone to dancing or being happy the age doesnt matter

madonna is still a good pop artist even she is 50 or what

Not to many gay men, for whom 35+ = dead.
