Solution for Mozilla printing problems?

Not much of a techno-geek here. I have been using Mozilla's Firefox as a browser for a long time. Faster and generally better than IE. Suddenly, however, it is impossible to print anything from sites found on Mozilla - it used to print just fine. Now, prints only the left half of the page, and in type about 3x normal size. I think it is a fucking microsoft problem (since windows is always updating itself). I use an HP printer. Monkeying with various printer settings (scale to fit page, print at 50% size, etc) does not provide a fix. (Printing at 50% normal size still prints only the left side of the page, but at a smaller size.)
    Anyone have any solutions?

I'm also not a techno-geek - even though I'm responsible for our computers here at home. My first thought is to see if Mozilla has an update. Or if your HP printer software has an update.

Try uninstalling Firefox & re-loading it.It'll keep your favourites & passwords.

What does it look like if you select Print Preview?

Open File --> Page Setup and see what the settings are.

Thanks - that was the answer. Somehow (angry microsoft gods?) the setting had been changed from a default of "shrink to fit page width" to 200%. Changing it back fixed the problem - and so far it seems to have stayed there.
