*cuts through the convo*
Awwh, that's interesting! Hey listen, I gotta find my friends, so I'll be back just a sec OK?
Then I run for my life!

...Of course that's hypothetical. I'm usually not a jerk.

Edit: If it were a real situation (which probably won't happen), I'd probably say, "I can see that you're an awesome person, but I'm good, friend!"
Then I do my apologetic smile.
Since I think I'd be uncomfortable I think I'd get as far as possible from the guy.

I must be severely unapproachable cause I don't have this issue. Most guys lack guts enough to say hi to me for whatever reason. The ones who do have the balls to talk to me mostly have leaned to be Daddies and guys who think very highly of themselves. So Highly that they just put other things in the way of connecting. I just don't get it.
As for the guys who come around who need a lot of work, inside and out, I try to be nice about letting them down. But usually ends with me blocking them. Got to work on somewhere between nice and honest. Blocking guys isn't something I'm proud of, for this.

The 'best' line a guy ever said to me was nothing at all! I went to the restroom while we were having a beer and when I came back he was gone. Table was cleaned off and my beer was gone too. Not like I spent a long time in the restroom. Yikes!

Yeah. Why the fuck do they HAVE to sound like they wanna see you again ? Fake bitches. If you're gonna kill my expectations, make it quick please, don't just shoot them in the nuts and let them die of a slow, painful death.

What a good and brutally honest description of this "process" I hate the way people do this shit.

This happened more than once.

Ha ha ha ha ha! That's one of the things I love about this site. All these guys making prudish comments, being butch, while acting like queens. Contradicting them selves a few posts later by making "risqué" comments. Dishing out the social judgments. And some of them are really fit, and do it with their shirts off!

I love how crazy, complex, and contradictory gay men are.

I think I'm getting used to fucking stupid prudes. They seem to be everywhere. I like when they do it in person, because they act really guilty if pulled up on it, not like on the net when they are behind a keyboard, when they are doing their net bullying/trolling or whatever.

And talk of butch guys acting like prudes and queens.. My next door evil gay next door neighbours are textbook examples of this. His BF led me on making me think I like him, which i did. I found out he was fake and a smartarse, then he becomes a total prude. I dont have the faintest clue as to how he knew how to "act" so i would like him, it makes the two bitches come across as stalker-y.

Fucking daft bitches that I never did anything harm to.

To a guy who is clueless vulgar, a loser and who won't go away:

"Back up, get your irritating voice away from me, before I knock your gym bunny barbie muscles straight to the floor and you end up looking like the big girl that you are trying so hard to hide ".

WHAT!? You da mostest interestinest person evah! How could someone not be interested in you?

If I meet someone on line and there's no interest on my part, I just say that I'm under house arrest for the next 6 to 9 months.

My favorite way to get rid of a guy:

"I can't wait to introduce you to my parents. They've wanted grandchildren so bad, so... you know any lesbians?"

As far as when I'm not interested in someone goes I just keep it simple so that there is no misunderstanding: "Thanks for showing interest but I'm not interested. Take care."

Should the roles be reversed I'm smart enough to get the hint and can read between the lines and I go about my business. I can't stand dudes who makes scenes when rejected and get all bitchy and queeny. Why?

What I don't like is when people message me (no matter what the reason is) but then don't reply back or even read my emails/texts. I think the silent treatment is for weaklings and those who know they are wrong. Regardless of that, I still go about my business because when little things like that are done I know I'm right in not dealing with them and consider myself much better off. I have yet to be wrong.

I actually don't say anything. I just kinda let them know I'm not interested by backing away.

is this in reference to ending a series of disappointing dates? or replying to overly-amorous internet messages?

I don't use lines, and try not to "put down" unless they really have it coming.
usually i just shoot for candid honesty tempered by tact, with a small compliment thrown in.

"you seem like a nice guy, i'm just not feeling any mutual chemistry, sorry." -or something equally sincere
